White Widow is one of the world's most famous strains and was first bred in the Netherlands in the 1990s. It is a hybrid cannabis strain that was created from a genetic cross between a Brazilian sativa landrace strain and a resin-rich South Indian indica. White Widow is 50% sativa and 50% indica.

In a professional indoor grow, White Widow reaches an estimated height of 1 meter, while outdoors it can reach up to two meters.

It requires a lot of light, but can also be grown in colder climates such as France, the UK, Germany or the Netherlands. Under the right light source in the grow room, it can deliver a yield of 450-500g/m². Outdoors, growers can harvest between 550-600g per plant.

Although this strain thrives better in warmer climates, it also produces excellent results in northern European climates. White Widow's flowering time is around 8-10 weeks and requires little maintenance, making it a suitable strain for beginners.
